On Wednesday, Aug. 22, local government representatives and members of the public gathered to celebrate the legacy of Jack Layton outside of the Victoria Public Library. The event, held on the anniversary of Layton’s passing, included live music from Devon MacCafferty, a poetry reading from Jeremy Loveday, stories from local MLAs and MPs as well as a reading of Jack’s “Letter to Canadians.”
