This week, Martlet Radio gets news and views from students on campus.

The Martlet Top Five – Sarah Towle fills us in on the top news stories from around campus this school year.

Students helping students – We talk to UVic Club Students for Literacy about what they do to help younguns in our community.

Mr. Personality – If you spend anytime in the SUB, you’d probably recognize Kelly Clark – or at least his cowboy hat. We hear this Missouri-born undergrad’s take on the SUB subculture.

More than just a nice pair of shoes – Veronica Best takes art seriously; she’s a masters student in art history hosts a popular Victoria fashion blog. We get her views on everything from the blogosphere to the ethics of art.

Frankenstein proteins – For honours student Rebecca Jantzen and her lab, some mixed up molecules may cure degenerative disease. We visit her in the basement of the Biology building.

Capital ‘P’ Proud – Pride Collective coordinator Cora Babey tells us why pride groups are important to university campuses and why UVic students should have voted for more financial support.

A dash of English – Japanese student Ayumi Yamada shares her experience studying English at UVic.

Learning curveball – We hit the streets to find out what exactly students learned this year.
