As previously reported in the Martlet on May 7, 2015, the Office of the Vice President has drafted the first-ever UVic Strategic Research Plan, and is now opening it to the student community for written feedback.
A draft was originally started in May after consultation with the UVic community in April. According to Tamsin Kaneen, Project Officer for the Office of the Vice-President Research, the plan “sets strategic priorities for UVic research — building on existing research excellence and positioning UVic to create or respond to emerging opportunities for research.”
A draft of the plan was opened on Sept. 21, and will remain open until Monday, Oct. 19, 2015. Students can leave feedback at uvic.ca/researchplan.
