The Nest – the Martlet‘s Podcast
The Nest is UVic’s independent newspaper the Martlet’s podcast, established in November 2024. The Nest features interviews with UVic and greater Victoria community members about what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, and how you can get involved. It is recorded CFUV 101.9FM’s studios and airs monthly at 10:00 Saturday morning on CFUV 101.9 FM. You can also listen to The Nest online and on streaming platforms.
The Nest won Gold for Student Journalist of the Year: Multimedia at the 2026 NASH John H. McDonald Awards for Excellence in Journalism at the National Canadian University Press conference.
