Volume 78 (2025-26):
- Rae Dawson, Gold for Student Journalist of the Year: Multimedia for the Nest: A Podcast by the Martlet
- Nick Czerwonka, Gold for Humour Writing for Five completely serious candidates for UVic’s new president
- Scott Van Haren, Bronze for Science Reporting for First Nations and UVic researchers convene to raise their voices about local herring fishery
Volume 77 (2024-25):
- Annilea Purser, Melody Powers, and Sydney Lobe for Investigative Reporting Award for Residence staff began requesting naloxone training in 2022. It took the death of a student for UVic to listen
- Sage Blackwell for Cover of the Year Award for the February 2023 Sex & Gender issue
Volume 76 (2023-24):
- Hannah Seaton for Science Reporting Award for ORCASat: How UVic students took an idea from campus to space
Volume 74 (2021-22):
- Mary Heeg for Climate Reporting Award for “Divest the rest”: Divest UVic rally calls for university to drop remaining fossil fuel investments
Volume 72 (2019-20):
- Joshua Ngenda for Op-Ed Award for Don’t (Just) Vote
- Natasha Simpson for Investigative Reporting Award for Celebrated Vikes Women’s Rowing Head Coach under investigation for abuse and harassment
