On Nov. 21, a crowd filled the Vertigo room of UVic’s Student Union Building to hear Liberals Justin Trudeau and Paul Summerville speak. Trudeau answered students’ and community members’ questions about everything from Chinese investment in Canada (Trudeau says it’s a good thing, though he’s opposed to the Northern Gateway Pipeline) to whether the seal hunt should be banned (Trudeau says it should not). The Martlet’s Hugo Wong was there to capture the action photographically.
