Visual Arts is hosting their annual “spooky party” Halloni
On Friday, Oct. 26, the Visual Arts Students Association is hosting their annual halloween party at UVic.
With advance tickets selling for just $10 — and $12 at the door — Halloni is one of the least expensive formal halloween parties in Victoria (for example, Lucky Bar is hosting their 90s Hip Hop Party Halloween Edition that same Friday night for $15 cover, and Distrikt, meanwhile, is hosting their Anti-Heroes Embrace the Darkness party on Saturday, Oct. 27, with cover going for a whooping $25).
Being held over Halloweekend, Halloni will naturally be a costume party, and attendees are encouraged to wear their spookiest outfits for “a roaring good time” and “an absolutely terrifying evening,” as reads the event description on Facebook.
“It’s the best party on campus,” says one event coordinator. “There will be four live bands, a DJ, and a magic show!”
With drinks readily available for purchase, free snacks, and troupes of Visual Arts students getting freaky in the halls of the Visual Arts building, Halloni will undoubtedly be a night to remember.
The Visual Arts Students Association is selling tickets in the Fine Arts Building at UVic on Oct. 24-26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily. For more information, visit their Facebook event here.
