Monday morning, Feb. 19. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and the UVSS student politicians are starting to pad those resumes.
Election campaigning officially begins today, and will continue until the voting days on Feb. 28 — March 2. This also includes campaigning for the three referendums on funding for the UVic Food Bank and Free Store in addition to the UVSS Health Care plan.
There’s only one slate — Envision UVic — and two independents — Ciel Arbour-Boehme and Dirk Slot — running in this year’s UVSS election, so choices are limited; however, there is a large range of policies to be discussed and debated.
Here’s a list of how to access information about each of the candidates.
