White Poppy Euro Tour Kick Off with the Backhomes and Slumberland
Lowkey psych act from Vancouver, White Poppy, will be Eurotripping in March. Come support the kickoff of their tour and new album Natural Phenomena. Cassettes are available at the show. The Backhomes are a complimentary psych and shoegaze rock duo, while openers Slumberland are a local band.

Local Love: Oaklands Sunset Market Fundraiser

Biodiversity, Climate Change and B.C.’s Flathead Valley
Brian Keating is a world-renowned naturalist and explorer featured on CBC’s “Going Wild”, and he’s coming to Victoria to give a presentation on biodiversity and general love for the wild. Richard Hebda of the Royal B.C. Museum will also speak about his personal research on climate change in the Crown of Continent region and in the Ktunaxa First Nations traditional territory of the Flathead River Basin. A video featuring Keating’s exploration of the Flathead River Basin will also be shown.
