East Sooke Park is a wonderful example of West Coast nature, with arbutus trees, rocky shores, and the obligatory seagulls. Among the lookout points and private beaches, you can feel the immensity of the natural history in this place. I recommend taking the coastal trail, which takes several hours of solid hiking, and passes by Cabin Point, where this photo was taken.
